My creamy dijon dressing recipe is so easy to make and ready in minutes! This creamy dijon dressing is great for salads, wraps, or with veggies!
Experimenting with making my own dressings and sauces is so much fun to me. Oftentimes, it’s cheaper to make your own dressing than to buy it. It’s much healthier since you know exactly what’s in it; no weird preservatives and chemicals you can’t pronounce. Try reading the ingredients list of most salad dressings….and you’ll be like “wtf is half of this stuff!?” Additionally, it’s pretty quick and simple to do! At most, it takes me all of three minutes to make! Normally, I double this recipe and it lasts me about a week!

Surely, with numerous benefits to making your own dressings, and sauces, why not try out this easy one? I became obsessed with this dressing about a month ago. Indeed, every salad I make is now smothered in this creamy goodness. I can’t get enough haha! It packs so much flavor and creaminess. Surely, it does not disappoint. Personally, I find this dressing pairs perfectly with an avocado. I chop one up in my salad, add this creamy dijon dressing in, and pow! I don’t know what it is, but my taste buds go crazy when these two mix together!
Creamy Dijon Dressing Notes
*This recipe includes olive oil. However, I mix it in when I’m ready to serve. I portion out the amount of dressing I need then add a splash of olive oil and combine. Otherwise, if you add the olive oil to the recipe and refrigerate it, the dressing is at risk of solidifying. According to Olive Oil & Beyond, olive oil will solidify when in temperatures below 36 degrees Fahrenheit (2.22 degrees Celsius) and can become cloudy.
Ingredients:
- 3 TBSP Lemon Juice
- 2 TBSP Dijon Mustard
- 2 TBSP Nutritional Yeast
- 1/2 TBSP Maple Syrup
- 1/8 TSP Garlic Powder
- 1/8 TSP Onion Powder
- Splash of Olive Oil
Directions:
- Whisk together all ingredients except *olive oil* in a mason jar
- When ready to serve, stir in desired amount of olive oil
